The Green Wagon
Have you been over to my Etsy site yet?
If you have you've seen my new spring line of upcycled wool scrubbers and unpaper towels.
I couldn't be happier to let you know that they are now available for purchase at The Green Wagon in East Nashville! I hope you'll stop in and give Tara and Johnny some love. They have expanded the store's selection tremendously and are just a fantastic couple.
They've also asked me to come do some workshops. The first of which will be about making your own cleaners. It's a really fun workshop, and I am revamping all my handouts with some brand new recipes!
Hope to see you there!

First Post (and orange cleaner recipe)
So here it is.
My very first blog.
I thought I would start off with my favorite and very first homemade cleaner. It's simple enough for our 7 year old to do.
Do you have lots of these?
We do. My girls eat oranges like they are fighting off scurvy.
Ingredients:
orange peels and vinegar
and
you will need a jar with a lid
That's it. You're done.
Put the lid on and shake it. Put it someplace dark. Shake it every once in a while until it smells less like vinegar and more like oranges. (really)
After it seems about right, I strain mine through a small strainer over a funnel into a spray bottle.
It's really great as an all-purpose spray, and does windows and glass too!
Happy Cleaning!

| Fill your jar with as many orange peels as you have hanging around on your counter. |

| The jar on the right is about 2 weeks into "pickling", I think it's about done. |
